How to organize your grocery list

Free printable grocery list template
How many times has this happened to you, you get to the front of the grocery store near the checkout, or you are actually in line to check out, when you realize that you forgot to get something that was very important. Another thing that seems to happen all too often, is that you get all the way to the left side of the grocery store and remember something that you need all the way back to the right side of the store where you have already been.

Even though you are always saying that you need to get more exercise the grocery store does not seem like a fun place to do that. Maybe you have one of the kids with you and you send them over to get the item you forgot. When they come back they’re carrying a couple of bags of candy that they are just positive that “we need”.

Well at GetMyTip.com we have a solution that can help you get organized, and maybe save some wear and tear on your shoes. We put together a no frills grocery shopping list that you can download and print FREE. Because it is organized by food categories and not any particular store’s layout, it can be used when shopping at any grocery store or wholesale club. A few examples of the categories are, meat and poultry, dairy, fruits and vegetables, canned goods, bakery, etc.

Another great thing about this shopping list is that you can print it out, keep it in the kitchen and use it as a memory board for your shopping. If you’re planning to go shopping on Saturday, and you run out of mayo on Tuesday, you can write it down on the list in the appropriate category. This way you won’t be standing in front of the open refrigerator door Saturday morning asking yourself, what was it I was supposed to get from the store?
