New Software Screws Up Computer Windows XP ...
Before you install new software create a restore point. Then if you have trouble with the new software you can always restore your computer back to the previous point. To create a restore point, click on start, click on programs, click on accessories, click on system tools, click on system restore, check the box “create a restore point” then click next. In the box type “before XXXX insert name of software installed”.

Open a new web page
To open a new page in your web browser without closing your current page, hold the Ctrl key and press N.

When you press the Print Screen Prt Scr button on your keyboard whatever is on your screen is copied to the clipboard. To print it simply open up your word processing or photo editing program and paste from the clipboard |

When will your hard drive fail
Did you know that all hard drives will fail! Hard drives are mechanical devices with spinning discs and moving arms. The question is, when your hard drive fails will you have a backup? It is wise to create one master file on your desktop to keep all your files in. You will want to create sub folders in the master file to keep organized. When it’s time to backup your files at least once a week all you need to do is back up one file to your extra hard drive or USB memory stick. If you use a memory stick you can carry your files with you when you travel. |
