Lies men tell

Are all men liars?

How to spot a liar

If you ask your female friends how to spot a liar they will usually come back with the standard answer, are his lips moving? I know that this is going to be hard to believe, but not all men are liars. But of course some are so wouldn’t it be nice to have some basic tools to help interpret truth from fiction?

It is often said, that the eyes are the window into the soul. When you are speaking face-to-face with a man, watch his eyes. If you ask him a question and he looks up and to the right, that’s usually a sign that he’s making something up. It’s an attempt by him to visualize something that probably never happened. That is unless he happens to be left-handed. It turns out that when people lie they look up and away from the hand that they normally favor. If you are speaking to a right-handed man, and you ask him a question, and he looks up and to the left, that means that he is most likely not lying and simply trying to remember something.

Watch out for eyes that are shifting around, that is usually an indication of dishonesty. When you are speaking to a man and his eyes are shifting around, and then he suddenly looks directly at you when he is finished speaking, it means that he is trying to determine if you’re buying the crap he is saying. Most men that lie also fidget. They may tap their fingers, squirm in their seat, wiggle their feet, or scratch the back of their head or neck.

Trust your instincts
Also, if you are having a conversation with a man that is using a normal tone of voice and then suddenly he lowers his tone, be skeptical of what comes out of his mouth next. It probably means that he is so embarrassed about the lie that he does not want anyone else to hear him.
